Family Prayer Group!
The objective of the newly constituted Parish Family Prayer Group (PFPG) is "to foster a praying community that is intimate with God, and will intercede on a regular and sustained basis for Church, Country, and Cosmos".
A Prayer Request Box will be placed in the Church. All requests in this box will be initially handled by Fr. Suresh, who will add these on to the regular intercessions at Sunday Services and pass them on to Cindy Jacob, who at present is the Coordinator of the Prayer Group, for further prayers by the PFPG.
With the formation of the Parish Family Prayer Group, the Poya Day Prayer Services as they were known has ceased to exist with effect from January 2014. Instead, there will now be a Prayer Service once every three months or so. It may fall on a Saturday (9:00am to 10:00am) or it may beheld on a Poya Day. These services will be coordinated by Lalith Dassenaike. The dates for these services will be notified shortly.
